Cascade Cougars blew out Blanchet Catholic 12-4 on Wednesday.

The Cougars  got things moving in the first inning. Abby Jeppsen hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Cascade scored six runs in the fifth inning. Hannah WallimanJaimy BangertJeppsen, and Lauren Lancour each had RBIs in the big inning.

Walliman pitched Cascade to victory. Walliman allowed two hits and two runs over five innings, striking out ten. Lancour threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Lancour recorded the last six outs to earn the save for the Cougars.

R. Rasmussen took the loss for Blanchet Catholic. Rasmussen surrendered eight runs on eight hits over three innings, walking one.

A. Davila started the game for Blanchet Catholic. Davila surrendered four runs on four hits over four innings, striking out five and walking one

The Cougars totaled 12 hits in the game. LancourCaylen MetcalfBangertWalliman, and Alyssa Collins all collected multiple hits for Cascade Cougars VarsityCollinsWallimanBangertMetcalf, and Lancour each collected two hits to lead Cascade.

A. Jensen led Blanchet Catholic with two hits in two at bats.
